Larimer County tax lien sale slated for Nov. 17 – Loveland Reporter-Herald

Larimer County Treasurer Irene Josey announced that the annual Larimer County Tax Lien Sale is scheduled for Nov. 17, but residents who haven’t paid their property taxes this year can still do so.

In a press release, she said interest continued to accrue on all unpaid property taxes and that after October 31, cash or certified funds would be required for payment.

“The timely receipt of property taxes is critical to the effective delivery of services by our county health department, fire districts, cities, towns and special districts and local law enforcement agencies. law,” she added.

The tax lien sale is organized to collect unpaid taxes.

Payments can be mailed to: Larimer County Treasurer and Public Trustee, PO Box 2336, Fort Collins, CO 80522, or deposited in the 24 hour secure drop box at 200 W. Oak St., Fort Collins.

Anyone with an escrow account with their mortgage company for property taxes who has questions about payment should contact the mortgage company.
